Mershon, John J.
Mershon was first elected state representative for Lincoln and Otero counties, New Mexico, in 1958. He served in this capacity for twenty-four years. Mershon chaired the House Appropriations and Finance Committee, and the New Mexico Legislative Energy Committee from 1975-1977.
