Wachtmeister, Beulah Hubbell, 1874-1958.
Beulah Hubbell was the second child of Frederick Marion and Frances Cooper Hubbell. She was graduated from Mount Vernon Seminary in Washington, D.C. In an 1899 wedding at Terrace Hill she married Count Carl Wachtmeister, a diplomat from Sweden. The couple resided in Paris, France and had one son, Fredrik Hans Carl Wachtmeister. Fredrik was schooled in England, graduating from Cambridge University in 1931, at which time he entered the Swedish diplomatic service. After retiring from foreign service he purchased Whitehall Farm near Warrenton, Virginia. Fredrik was married three times, a father of 4 children by his first two marriages. In 1954 he married Jane Elizabeth Dutcher and lived with her on his farm in Virginia until his death in 1973.
