Rice, Michael M., 1853-

Newspaperman; moved to Arizona in 1870 and worked for the Prescott Courier, and became known as "Arizona's Poet Laureate". Rice served as an Army messenger and journalist during the Geronimo campaign and was a clerk in the 13th Territorial legislature. He moved to California in 1920.
