Anzivino, Joseph J.
Joseph Anzivino (b. 1921) began his association with basketball as a sports writer in Hawaii in World War II. In 1946, when the Harlem Globetrotters played in Hawaii, he met the teams' founder, Abe Saperstein, and began a long association with the organization. In 1988 he became general manager and, in 1992, president of the Harlem Globetrotters. He retired to Las Vegas in 1994.
