Stephen Mooser was born July 4, 1941, in Fresno, CA. He became a photographer and producer of documentary films, and an author of children's books. He has written a number of different series, including the Which Way Interactive Series, the Gigglemajig Series, the Treasure Hound Series, the Creepy Creature Club Series, and the All-Star Meatballs Series. The last three of these are directed a beginning readers, and feature regular casts of characters who often encounter strange things. Mooser feels that children enjoy these types of books because for them, the world is still a wide open, incredible place. Mooser also writes for teens.
