Berardinelli, Nicola, b. 1892: Secrets of Singing, 1971
Nicola Berardinelli (1892- ), an Italian American composer and opera baritone, was born in Castel di Sangro, Italy. In 1910, he came to the United States, where he taught voice, composed music, and performed. Barardinelli was director and teacher at the Berardinelli School of Music; conductor of the Illinois Opera Company, the Conti Light Opera Company, and the Chicago Popular Opera Company; he also sang with those companies. He was on the faculty of the Chicago Conservatory (Ill.), the Chicago School of Music, and was author of the voice book, Secrets of Singing (1971).
