Lilley family.
The Lilley family from Augusta County, Va., was headed by John Lilley, with sons James M., Robert D., and William. Robert D. Lilley became postmaster in Lilly, Ohio, and James became a reserve Army colonel. John W. Campbell, jurist and congressman, was James M. Lilley's brother-in-law and mentor.
