McFarlane, Dr Daniel (1896-1979 : medical graduate : University of Glasgow, Scotland)
Daniel McFarlane was born in 1896. He left school to join the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders during the Loos battles, where he was wounded. He began his studies at Glasgow University in 1919, graduating in 1924. He first worked in Grimsby before joining the practice of Dr Robert Black in Anniesland, Glasgow, until retiring in 1966. He died in 1979.
