Rice, R. W. (Roy Warren), 1934-

Roy Rice was born in 1909 in Massachusetts. He attended various schools including Wesleyan University, University of New Mexico, University of Massachusetts, Amherst and finished with his doctorate in 1946 at the University of Texas at Austin. He began teaching at Arizona State College and became director of Summer Sessions in 1949. By 1951, Extension and Correspondence had been added to his respondibilities. He retired from the deanship in 1969 but continued teaching in the area of adult education until 1975. He is now retired and lives in Tempe.
