Aiken, David, 1868-1949
David Aiken was born in Winnsboro, South Carolina on February 7, 1868. He attended The Citadel and graduated with a degree in dentistry from the University of Maryland in 1890. He returned to Winnsboro where he practiced dentistry. Aiken was elected president of the South Carolina State Dental Association in 1924 and served as a member of the South Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners from 1926 to 1935. He died in Winnsboro on March 10, 1949.
