McGinnis, Paula Guyer.
Native Texan who enlisted in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps in 1942 and spent the remainder of the War in North Africa and Italy caring for German prisoners of war and American soldiers. Her military career ended in 1952 with the birth of her first child.
