Pert, P. L. (Perleston L.)
Variant namesPerleston L. "Bub" Pert was born in Bath, Me. He worked as a correspondent and writer for the Boothbay Register and other newspapers. The photographs in this collection were chiefly taken while he was the central Maine correspondent for the Sunday Telegram in the 1960s. Pert also served as the first public information officer for the Maine State Police and in a similiar capacity for the Dept. of Education.
