Manson, William R., 1906-1984
Variant namesWilliam Manson, ships captain, headed a settling party of 100 indentured servants in Georgia during 1774. Manson remained loyal to Britain during the American Revolution and later claimed compensation from King George III due to losses from lands seized by the American government.
