Newman, Mark H.

Newman, born in 1806, was the son of Deacon Newman, one-time principal of Phillips Academy, Andover, Mass. He appears to have been associated with John Howarth in establishing the Ballardvale Mills Company, a woolen mill in Ballardvale, a locality in Andover.
