Price, John Edward, -1892
Variant namesJohn Edwards and Muriel Price were two individuals who took an interest in the work of Sion Cent, consulting manuscripts and transcribing his poetry. Their transcripts were used by Sir Ifor Williams in his work, Cywyddau Iolo Goch ac eraill, 1925.
John Edwards M.A. of Betws Gwerful Goch, Corwen, Merioneth was a student at the University College of North Wales. Muriel Price of Pwllheli, was educated at the Normal College, Bangor. It was her intention to write an M.A. thesis on the subject of Sion Cent, but this never came to fruition.
