The Deaf AIDS Core (DAC) was a grassroots organization in Rochester, New York. Made up of NTID faculty and community members, the group was active in the mid-1990s. DAC served as a consultant to the American Red Cross in designing visual materials for use in HIV/AIDS education with Deaf community members with low literacy skills.
