Proprietors of the Middlesex Canal
Variant namesThe Proprietors of the Middlesex Canal were incorporated by an act of the Massachusetts Legislature, passed 22 June 1793, under John Langdon Sullivan (1777-1865) and other proprietors for the purpose of building a canal to connect the Concord River to Boston Harbor.
