Gilbert, Fred Alliston.
Fred A. Gilbert began in the logging business with his father in the 1880's. In the 1890's, he went into partnership with McNulty and Stetson. In 1900, he became Vice President of Great Northern Paper Company and chief of the Spruce Wood Division until 1928.
