Stratton family.
Biographical note: Emerson O. Stratton came to Arizona as a bookeeper for the Maricopa Wells stage station. He owned a ranch on the east slope of the Catalina Mountains, operated a freight business from Florence, and was chairman of the State Livestock Sanitary Board.
