Ford Motor Company. Production Department.
With responsibility for maintaining an accurate flow of information between plants, sales branches, and administrative offices in Dearborn, the Production Department grew to meet the expanding needs of the company. In consultation with building and department foremen, superintendents, sales staff, and finance staff, the Production Department established production schedules and reported production totals to the various offices and superintendents in order to address potential and actual slowdowns or interruptions.
