Royal, F. B. (Forrest Betton), 1893-1945
Variant namesForrest Betton Royal was born February 10, 1983, in New York City. He received his commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy in June 1915, and advanced to the rank of rear admiral on March 14, 1944. Royal died of coronary thrombosis on June 18, 1945, and buried at Leyte in the Philippines.
