Stevenson, Andrew B., 1817-1902.
Andrew Brown Stevenson (1817-1902) was a carpenter and pattern maker before entering the financial industry. He served as president of the First National Bank of Birmingham (Pittsburgh, Pa.) for several years. His son, John, was also a banker and president of the Manufacturer's Bank of the South Side (Pittsburgh, Pa.). Andrew's siblings included Thomas J. Stevenson (1826-1902), a postmaster at Natrona, Pa. and William E. Stevenson (1820-1883), the first governor of West Virginia.
