Raymond L. Steventon (1926-) served in the Navy from 1943 through 1964.

After discharge he worked with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Climate Research, conducting arctic research and flying P2V aircraft. He was also involved in the radiocarbon dating business. Steventon retired in 1989 and currently resides in DeForest, Wisconsin.
