The Advisory Committee on Planning considered all aspect of broad policy, such as current and future needs in public health and the relevance of the School's programs to the needs, directions for emphasis and deemphasis in the development of the School as a whole, and the need for new departments and other structures. The Committe was in effect from 1971-1979; duties were taken over by the Faculty Council.
