Mining and highway engineer, prospector. Born in 1892 in Diamond, Missouri. Attended Missouri School of Mines. Worked as a mining and highway engineer and prospected privately in New Mexico. Waged a 20-year legal battle with the U.S. Forest Service and the New Mexico Bureau of Land Management over his mining claim in the Cibola National Forest. Died in 1968 in Alburquerque, New Mexico.
