Merry, Henry George, 1862-1924.

Henry George Merry was born in Negaunee, Mich. on November 10, 1862. He married Charlotte Morross in 1886, and the two had four sons. Merry worked in the mining industry for most of his life. By 1883, he was an agent for the McComber Mine in Marquettte County, Mich. In 1887, he went to work for the Low Moor Mining Iron Company in Low Moor, Virginia and became their General Manager in 1890. In 1900, he became General Manager of the Montana Coal and Coke Company of Electric, Montana. After Charlotte's death in 1914, Merry retired to Cleveland, Ohio, where he ran the Merry Investment Empire. He died in 1924.
