Lived in Peking, China, 1920-24, where Ruth taught English to Chinese boys. Social worker at Hartford Retreat and Flower Hospital, New York City, 1940-?. Moved to Northampton, MA, 1952; later settled in Concord, MA, where she died in 1984.
