Poor, Gerald L., 1907-1975.
Poor earned his B.A. from Olivet College, and a Master's degree and a Ph. D. from the University of Michigan. He was considered one of CMU's most esteemed educators. He taught as a Professor of Secondary Education at CMU. He was given Emeritus status in 1973 when he retired. The one-room schoolhouse at CMU was named after him.
