Hughes, Charles W., 1858-1912

Charles W. Hughes was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 22, 1858. After being orphaned at a young age, he was adopted by James L. and Elizabeth Wilson of Indiana. Hughes lived in Ladoga, Indiana, where he was a merchant and famer. In 1888, he married Mary S. Thompson ("Susie"), and they had three children: Beulah (b. 1889), Charles (b. 1894), and Lilah (b. 1899). Charles W. Hughes died on March 22, 1912.
