Whaling vessel, out of Faial, Azores, mastered by Albert Lewis, on voyage 18 July 1861-14 Oct. 1862 to Western, Western Island, San Antonio, and other whaling grounds; built at Newbury, Mass., 1809; earlier whaling out of Boston, Mass; later changed name to Perseverance.
