Ward family.
Family of George Hull Ward, of Worcester, Mass., brigadier general in Massachusetts Militia and lieut. colonel with 15th Massachusetts Volunteers during the Civil War where he was injured at the Battle of Balls Bluff and subsequently killed at the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863 where a monument was erected in his honor.
