Osborne, Benjamin A., 1898-1986.
Born in British Guiana, Osborne moved to Indianapolis as a young man and became a naturalized citizen in 1927. Trained as a chiropractor, he also served as a Marion County deputy sheriff, a probation officer, and Center Township trustee. As a township trustee from 1966 to 1980, Osborne was an advocate of poor relief through public works programs.
