The Wilfrid and Marion Schweitzer Lecture was inaugurated in 1995. Marion Schweitzer and the estate of Wilfrid Schweitzer donated funds to establish the lecture series to bring to Laurier Campus distinguished speakers who are recognized in the fields of English literature, history, political science, international relations, music, or religion.
