Robert Copland (fl. 1508-1547), author and printer, worked in the office of Wynkyn de Worde. He issued books under his imprint, 1515-1547, and also worked as a bookseller and stationer. Copland translated three romances of chivalry and other works from French, and wrote poetry, including 'The Hye way to the Spyttel Hous' and 'Jyl of Breyntford's Testament'.
