Heineman, Herbert
Max Heinemann was born 1891 in Krefeld, Germany; his wife, Lisette, née Kaufmann was born 1900. They had two sons, Erich Martin Heinemann (b.1927) and Herbert Simon Heinemann (b.1930) who were sent to England in 1939; Max and Lisette Heinemann also had a daughter born in 1929 who apparently did not survive childhood. Max and Lisette Heinemann were deported to Theresienstadt, where they survived, before being reunited with their boys in England. The family immigrated to the United States in 1948.
