Harvard University. Women's Clearinghouse.
The Women's Clearinghouse at Harvard University and Radcliffe College was launched in 1979 as a resource center for information and as a place where women's groups and unaffiliated women could gather. Funded by the university, it arose in response to demands, following the 1977 agreement between Harvard University and Radcliffe College, that Harvard was responsible for more than the academic needs of its women undergraduates.
