Thaxter, Levi
Levi Lincoln Thaxter, son of Levi Lincoln and Nabby Howe Thaxter, was born in Watertown, Ma. 1821. Thaxter spent a lot of time away from home, travelling with two of his sons and pursuing interests in botany and ornithology. His wife was the celebrated poet Celia Thaxter.
