Brown, Herbert A.

Brown served in the Royal Navy, 1901-May 1913, when he joined the Royal Australian Navy and came to Australia on the submarine A.E.2, which subsequently escorted troop transports to Egypt and was sunk in the Dardanelles 30 Apr. 1915, after which he was a prisoner in Turkish camps until Nov. 1918.
