O'Melveny, H. K. S.
Lawyer who came to Central City, Illinois from Kentucky, started a practice there in 1853 and by 1860 had been elected a district judge. In 1869 moved his family to California where he was elected district judge in 1873 and appointed to the Superior Court in 1887.
