Folger, Benjamin Franklin 1806-1879.
The collection carries through four generations of the Folger, Ross, and Allender families. Dr. Benjamin Franklin Folger moved to Rush County, Indiana from North Carolina about 1850. He was married to Nancy Ross. One of their sons was William O. Folger and he was married to Lydia E. Allender. Their daughter Mary Florence Folger taught at the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis.
