Wilson, Russell, 1883-1948
Admiral Russell Wilson (b. Dec. 27, 1883, Fredonia, N.Y.-d. June 6, 1948) was Deputy Commander in Chief of the U.S. Fleet in 1942 and 1943. He retired from Navy service as a vice admiral in 1943.
