Carried out research for book on 19th century copper mining in California with emphasis on Calaveras, Humboldt and Modoc counties (1944-1968). Transcribed newspaper articles relevant to this work. Also collected information on other topics, notably history Congregational Church in northern California. Assisted by teacher husband, Leroy Dee Smith.
