Clinch Rifles (Augusta, Ga.)
The Clinch Rifles, an independent volunteer rifle corps, was formed from the Clinch Engine Company No. 2 (Augusta, Ga.) in 1851. During the Civil War, it became Company A, 5th Georgia Infantry Regiment.
