Gilbert Townsend Tuttle, Jr., was a United States (U.S.) Army officer. He graduated from the United States Military Academy (USMA) in 1958. He rose to the rank of general and was assigned as the commanding general of the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) from 1989-1991.
