Kenner & Henderson were New Orleans merchants.
Winthrop Sargent fought on the side of the colonists in the Revolutionary War, and was a politician and member of the Federalist party. He was the first Governor of the Mississippi Territory and owned a plantation in Natchez, Mississippi.
