Du Plessis, Roger, duc de Rocheguion, 1598-1674.
Du Plessis was son of Charles du Plessis, marquess of Liancourt and comte de Beaumont sur Oise, governor of Metz in 1604 and later of Paris. Roger Du Plessis was a member of the Society of Notre Dame for the conversion of the Indians in New France, founded in Montreal in 1642.
