Loren Benjamin Macdonald was minister of the First Parish in Concord, Mass., from Oct. 1895 until his death in Nov. 1924. Born in Newport, N.S. in 1858, died in Concord. Graduated from Harvard College in 1876, from Harvard Divinity School in 1881. Ordained to Unitarian ministry in 1882. Served as minister in Ellsworth, Maine, Wolfeboro, N.H., and Boston, Mass., before Concord. Member of Concord's Library Committee, of Corinthian Lodge of Freemasons, and of American Unitarian Association. Married Mary Josephine Bygrave, June 7, 1905.
