Kepner, John Price, d. 1881.
Kepner served in Company I 6th Pennsylvania Cavalry and as a hospital steward during the Civil War. His unit was part of the Army of the Potomac. Following the war he served as chief clerk of the Statistical Div., Surgeon General's Office, War Dept. until his death September 13, 1881.
