Kimball, Elias Smith 1857-1934

A son of Heber C. Kimball and brother of J. Golden Kimball, Elias Kimball served as president of Southern States Mission, 1894-1898, and as a chaplain in Spanish-American War.

Elias Kimball served as a missionary in the Southern States Mission, 1884 to 1886, during which time he served as president of the East Tennessee Conference and mission secretary; as president of the Southern States Mission, 1894 to 1898; as a chaplain with the 2nd Regiment of Volunteer Engineers during the Spanish-American War, 1898-1899; and as the first president of the Blackfoot Stake, 1904 to 1912.
