Hitchcock, Edward W.
Edward W. Hitchcock (b. 1877), a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was a first lieutenant in the United States Army during World War I. He served in France and comiled two detailed notebooks, one describing the organization of the French army and convoy running, and the other describing the ambulance service during the war.
